Really, K2 is the most super-hyped game I have ever seen (including Halo 3) People think that K2 will be the BEST. Well, I have news for ya, according to amount played and purchases, Halo 3 is on top right now and has managed to stay there for 2 years steady. If you think K2 is gonna be "teh shizzle" then you gotta stand it up against the most successful out there.
Personally though I would compare it to COD4.

no offense, but you just suck at the game. SMG is not a very powerfull weapon, that's why you can duel wield it. The battle rifle on the other hand is pretty powerful. 4 shots to the head with a battle rifle will kill a guy. If you shot at him 9 times then I would have to say that maybe your just a terrible shot and need more practice.

After playing through Bioshock, (which I loved) I got this idea. What led me to this idea was the environment of Bioshock. Trapped underwater, in a dangerous claustrophobic environment. Most everything is old and dirty.

Contrary to common sense several review sites and magazines have explained that the scale is actually out of 11. 11 being the "unicorn" (absolutely perfect game). That not being possible, some games have the potential to score a 10. 10 being a game that meets all expectations, when the expectations are high.
And yes, COD4, Bioshock, and Mass Effect are definitely 10s.
